Well it’s official. I don’t have to go grocery shopping anymore. What a relief. It’s such a nuisance anyway – who really needs it? I have discovered that I am allergic and therefore just need to stay away entirely – that way everybody is happy.

It started out as a fairly innocent trip with Greg to Winco Foods in Kent last night. We were happily going down the aisles putting our favorite things in the cart – Greg was whining about raisins -those hidious little brown things that he is addicted to – I’m telling you it is a SICKNESS! And we couldn’t find them. Poor baby. All of a sudden – we’re in the produce section picking out avocados and I started to sneeze. Now I’m not talking about 2 or 3 sneezes here people – more like 20! Once I start I can’t stop and it’s really embarressing. What’s worse is that it happened another time over in frozen foods – and Greg STILL had not found those dreadful raisins. I was afraid we were going to have to leave the store – I mean EVERYBODY was staring! But Greg was determined to find raisins – even if I was publicly humiliated – or passed out somewhere – or both. So stay we did – we pushed on – even seeing people we knew down one aisle – thank goodness I was not having an attack right then.

And I feel like I’m a better stronger person for enduring my humiliating allergic reaction to grocery stores – and I’ve told Greg that he can go without me next time – just he and his sorry little raisins.

Thankfully I was able to get this off my chest even though our internet is down-yes that’s right- I’m typing this blog from my Iphone – with a little help from my friend and Iphone buddy, David Miles.
