Musings From A Musical Mind

Yesterday Greg and I went with our good buddies, John and Deanna to LaConner, Washington for a little bike ride, rest and relaxation, a change of scenery and much love and laughter – plus good food and a little dinner with our friends, Ray and Margaret who live in the area.  It was an AMAZING day – full of fun – getting into trouble with the locals and bonding and precious secrets and memories among friends.

We have not ridden bikes for a LONG TIME and we are sure feeling it today!

Here are a few pictures from our adventure – hope you enjoy them 🙂

When was the last time you got away with some good friends – no agenda – just friendship?

God Bless

  3. Sounds like fun! Would love a day like this.

  4. looks like fun. it’s harder now that we have kids.

    • Thanks Rob – but that’s what babysitters are for – so you can still do some fun things 🙂 and before you know it – you will be empty nesters like us!

  5. Yes, we had a wonderful time, even if they apparently don’t allow “laughing” in LaConner!

  6. Ah, looks like you had a blast!! awesome.

Just this weekend we met up with some friends had a bbq and just laughed much around the fire. Great time, good friends.

  7. Really fun pics, Cindy! The four of you are so blessed to have an awesome friendship like that! My John and I are learning as a married couple the need for other friends/couples and its pics/stories like the ones you and John and Deanna share that encourages us! Thank you!

    • So glad my friend! It’s so important – especially as we enter into different seasons of life – they encourage me to be better than I am – and that’s what true friendship is all about 🙂

  8. Looks and sounds like you all had a great time! My BFF and I get together pretty much every week, usually after church, to just hang out and fellowship.

  9. It was a blast. Still cannot believe the trouble you three caused. I rode away for 3 minutes and you were breaking laws, getting yelled at, and laughing at the elderly. 🙂

    • Okay now I feel OFFICIALLY LOVED!! John actually COMMENTED on my little ol’ blog! Woot! Woot! And to set the record straight – the elderly were laughing AT US!! Well they were yelling – and that’s almost the same 🙂

  10. Sure looks like a great time was had by all, Cindy! FUN! I think we need something like this. Just hasn’t happened YET. . .
